Crash, bang, wallop

Well folks,

Was it karma? Were they screwed over? How funny was Drogba at the end? How racist are Sky? The question marks keeping coming… your thoughts folks on one of the funniest nights of football in years if you hate Didier Drogba.

For blanket coverage by the way, here's some good links...
Superb and, at odds with most coverage, balanced minute-by-minute from Paul Doyle here.
Drogba losing it.
Ballack still chasing that pigeon.
Yankie Chelsea fan, having gone insane after last night, sings the Scrubs theme tune again and again...

Later, JJ

I personally think the expression on Redknapps face after the game was absolutely priceless. Who'd have thought a man could look so angry yet sound so idiotic at the same time??? Has any one ever been that xenophobic towards a Norwegian before? HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LUHR. (Love United,Hate Redknapp) "..You fit the weekend Stevie?...."-wanker!
P.S. LAMPARD: "..we're grown men, you can't expect us to walk away without saying a word to the referee...." Grown men????? Drogba may look the part, but that fuckers mental age has to be questioned. You'd nearly feel sorry for them if it was'nt so fucking funny!

Chelsea can only blame themseles for being knocked out, the had a man advantage for the last 25 minutes, they should have finished the game off with the chances they had.

As for the penalties the Pique handball was a definite one no question about it, i haven't seen a good angle of the Dani Alves foul on Maluoda but at first glance i thought it was outside the box, as for the others they would have been extremely harsh penalties to give.

Abidal should not have been sent off Anelka fell over his own feet.

But overall, all the scandal about Drogba, Ballack, and England Captain John Terry's™ reaction after the whistle has completely overshadowed the fact that there were 2 outstanding goals scored last night, Essien's was probably one of the best i've ever seen and Iniesta's was superb.

One disappointing thing about last night however is that i didn't see England Captain John Terry™ cry.

It really couldn't have happened to a nicer side. The players on thep itch are as much to blame as the ref of course, Drogba doesn't roll around like he's auditioning for a part on High School Musical and maybe there's not even three minutes injury time(Pep i think had only made one change), or you know, stick one of the 4 or 5 chances you had away you big blouse.

And really, there was one, one penalty i could understand them feeling aggrieved over, and that was the Pique handball, but it was still ball to hand, some give it, some don't. Both sides would feel harshly done by whatever the call.
